OUR FOUNDATION OF FAITH

We believe...

• There is one Holy God, who is the creator of all things, who reveals himself in three persons-God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit (Mathew 28:19)
• Out of His eternal love for all mankind, God sent His one and only Son, Jesus Christ, so that those who believe in Him should not perish but have eternal life.(John 3:16)
• Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life, that He was born of a virgin and was both fully God and man in the flesh, that He lived a sinless life, that He shed His blood through crucifixion for the forgiveness of sins, that He was raised from the dead on the third day, that He ascended into Heaven and now sits at the right hand of the Father interceding for believers, and that He will return again. (Luke 1:30-35; 1 Corinthians 3:6, Romans 8:34; Mark 16:19)
• The Holy Spirit is a person of the Trinity who indwells the believer, convicts of sin, teaches and reminds of all things, guides in truth, helps in weakness, intercedes in prayer, and brings eternal life. (John 14:26; John 16:8, John 16:13; Romans 8: 26)
• God created all mankind in His image, but because of our sinful nature we are separated from God leaving us in need of a Savior. (Genesis 1:27; Romans 3:23-26) 
• Salvation is a gift from God and is received through faith in Jesus Christ and His sacrifice for sin. (John 3:16; Romans 3:24-26)
• Man is saved by grace through faith and not by works and that all true believers are eternally secure in Christ Jesus. (Ephesians 2:8-9; John 10:29)
• The Bible is God's Holy and inspired word. (John 1:1,2; Timothy 3:16)
• The Church is the united body of Christ of which He is Lord, and as Disciples of Christ, we are comissioned to "Go into all the world and teach the good news to all creation." (Mark 16:15)
